the past. Yet, within its crumbling façade, a new story was about to unfold story woven from the dreams and

misfortunes of two men from different worlds.

Reno Hulfdecker, a buoyant hotelier from Zürich, Switzerland, stepped into the hotel with grand aspirations

and an eagerness that matched the bustling energy of the city. Armed with an innovative vision to

revolutionize the hospitality industry through time-sharing, he believed he could transform the Gotham Hotel

into a luxurious haven for travelers. His charming Swiss accent and unyielding determination marked him as

a man on a mission one who envisioned a future filled with success and opportunities.

However, as with many dreams forged in ambition, personal feelings clouded Reno's judgment. Enamored

with a captivating socialite who frequented high-society events, he was drawn into a whirlwind romance that

blinded him to the realities of his financial situation. In his desire to impress her and keep up with her

extravagant lifestyle, Reno began to overspend in ways that jeopardized his vision for the hotel. His personal

affections led him down a tumultuous path of debt, reckless investments, and missed opportunities.

Amidst the unraveling of his dreams, Eric Ludwig VonKnipp, a young and ambitious entrepreneur, crossed

paths with Reno. Drawn to the charismatic hotelier's vision and the potential he sensed in the Gotham Hotel,

Eric saw an opportunity to work alongside Reno, eager to learn the ropes of the hospitality industry while

hoping to carve his own path in the business world.

its greatest asset.

However, the path to revival was fraught with challenges. Each fleeting shadow and haunting echo within the

hotel served as a reminder of Reno's unresolved feelings and the personal ghosts he had to confront. In the

face of financial ruin and the looming loss of their dreams, Eric stepped into his role as the Gotham’s savior,

determined to not only revive the hotel but also help Reno reclaim the vision he had nearly lost.

Alongside them, the enduring wisdom of Solomon Goldman, Eric’s mentor, provided crucial guidance. A
man well-versed in the intricacies of the hotel business, Solomon had seen both the highs and lows of the

PROLOGUE: RISING FROM THE ASHES

On the sunlit shores of the Red Sea, where golden sands met

crashing waves, a vision of hope began to take root. The Sinai

Peninsula, steeped in ancient history and rugged beauty, was

destined to become the cradle of a new nation.

In the cool embrace of twilight, a young girl’s voice floated

through the air, carrying promises to the stars. “We will rise from

the ashes,” she declared, her eyes alight with determination. “We

will forge a city of brilliance, a sanctuary of hope in a world frayed

by conflict and despair. We will name it Al-Nour, and it will be a

place of wonder, magic, and dreams.”

A figure emerged from the shadows as her words dissolved into

the shimmering night. Jack Stone, a man driven by compassion

and iron resolve, stood tall, his gaze fixed on the distant horizon.

The road ahead was daunting, filled with trials and challenges, but

he was prepared. He had witnessed humanity’s darkest moments

yet remained steadfast in his belief in its capacity for goodness.

Stars punctured the dark sky, twinkling like diamonds scattered

across a vast velvet canvas. In that fleeting moment, Jack felt the

dawn of a new era on the cusp of unfolding—a time of hope,

peace, and reconciliation. Al-Nour was poised to rise from the

ashes, a luminous beacon nestled alongside the soothing waters of

the Red Sea.

As the night deepened, Jack contemplated the hurdles that lay

ahead. He understood that the path to peace was fraught with peril,

and there would be those who sought to extinguish the light of Al-

Nour. Yet, amidst the uncertainty, he found solace in the company

of allies. Charlie Tango, Rachel, Alex, and Amir stood resolutely

by his side—each one a pillar of strength, each one sharing his

dream of a brighter tomorrow.

Hand in hand, they would welcome the dawn of this new chapter,

armed with courage, conviction, and an unwavering commitment

to their vision of Al-Nour a homeland reborn for the Palestinian

people on land leased from Egypt for a century. It promised to

symbolize hope in a fractured world. However, as they stood on

the brink of this extraordinary venture, one question loomed large

in their hearts: Would Egypt say yes?
